i’m a father and us army veteran. i grew up in davis, ca and have been living in placer county since 2021. my journey into photography was inspired by my family. as i integrated back into civilian life I yearned for an artistic outlet. after trying many mediums, I found my father’s 1980s canon 35mm film camera and began taking pictures. Soon after, my sister gave me a dslr, some lenses, and a flash. since then, i haven’t stopped taking pictures (or buying old cameras).
